DESCRIPTION:****** CANCELLED ******* \n\n\n\nWe are sorry to announce that due to the on-going coronavirus situation we have made the decision to cancel the Messiah Concert on the 4th April 2020. \n\n\n\nTicket payments will be refunded.  \n\n\n\nAn announcement will be made\, in due course\, as to the rescheduling of the event. \n\n\n\nThank you for your support of Havering Singers – look after yourselves and stay well.  \n\n\n\nIn the run up to Easter we are delighted to be performing the glorious oratorio Handel’s Messiah featuring Hallelujah Chorus and For Unto Us a Child is Born . \n\n\n\nWe will be joined by the Concordia Orchestra\, arranged by Sue Catmur\,  four talented soloists – Cheryl Enever\,  Freya Jacklin\, Richard Dowling and Greg Link –  conducted by Jonathan Rathbone. \n\n\n\nWe are very excited that this will be the first time the Choir performs Messiah under Jonathan’s direction.  \n\n\n\nThe venue for this performance is St Peter’s Church\, Gubbins Lane\, Harold Wood\, RM3 0QA.  \n\n\n\nTickets for this concert will be £15\, discounted to £13 if bought and paid for in advance (by Wednesday 1st April). Tickets for children and students aged 5 – 17 will be £5.
